Most people don’t realize we are also an Aluminum Welding shop. Not only do we specialize in boat performance and boat props, but we also specialize in boat repair, boat modifications, and boat customizations. We focus on aluminum welding, but we also weld on stainless steel and mild steel. The definition of fabrication is “The action or process of manufacturing or inventing something.”
At our metal fabrication shop in Lafayette, we love to fabricate more functional parts for boats. We are not your average, everyday, run of the mill Metal Fabricator like other shops in Lafayette. We are a different kind of boat shop in Acadiana. We take what you already have an we make it more FUNctional. We DO NOT fabricate boats….yet.
We know the excitement of buying a new boat and quickly realizing you should have added more boat storage, a walk-through windshield, a center console, a grab bar, a sight fishing tower, a T-Top and so on. Well that’s what we do. If you have an existing boat and would like to add things like a boat deck, boat floor, extend your boat deck, a bigger Fuel tank, more boat storage, center or dual console, a enclosed boat cab, Leaning post, Boat Steps, Dry storage, flotation pods and so on, that’s what we do.

Yes- Work with local fiberglass boat shops to make sure we are attaching any fabricated parts correctly. There are some instances where fiberglass work may be necessary to achieve the strongest result.
No. We are a welding & metal fabrication shop. We are certainly no painters ;). We do work with several local Acadiana business to offer powder coating & Painting.
No. We can weld on stainless and mild steel as well.
No. We take in all sorts of fabrication and welding work throughout the year. We don’t just work on boats!
Not usually. We may have a casting platform here & there, but usually we build out our parts at the time of the project. We custom make & fit each part to make sure you have a customized looked no one else has.
